Summer is here in all its green glory. Last night after dinner, Anna decided she needed to pick peas in the garden. She opened a pea shop, sold me some peas, and then made a beautiful big salad for her guinea pig "babies." The guinea pigs were re-named Charlie and Bella and they had a fine if not frightening time devouring the bushels of greenery that Anna picked for them. I especially liked the way she used edible clover and borage flowers in the salad. We had a good rain yesterday and the garden is so lush! In the photos, you can see our potatoes, asparagus, baby corn and pumpkin, sunflowers, rhubarb and peas.
